However, the honeymoon seems to have come to an end with things taking a sudden turn. Shiney who had signed a three-year-contract with the label is said to want out due to what she alleged was failure by Simama Records to honour the penned deal.
In the contract, Spice has learnt that she was supposed to be provided with a house in Nairobi and this did not happen.
"When they asked me to join them, they gave me a lot of promises including a house, which they promised to give me fully furnished. However, when I got to Nairobi, this was never to be. I stayed in the studio for three months and I had to foot my bills. My mother is against me going back to Simama as I wasted my time while I should have been in college," Shiney revealed. ager, Edward concurred with the allegations saying that there was 'a small misunderstand- ing' from both parties and he had pitched camp at the coast to talk with her.
"I know there has been some small problems between her and the label, but I am hoping it is something we can work out because she is one of the top singers this country can have and we want to work with her," he stated"
