1.What's your government names?
RICKY :My government names are Ricky Bekko but a lot people think its an industry name not unless they send Mpesa or do any formal business that require signing of documents.
2.Did you ever dream of being a video Director/producer?
RICKY :Actually, not growing up i never knew what i want to be but i would have been a lawyer if I had the chance to go to campus but our family wasn't well off. So in the process of hanging out with my friends who were musicians and seeing their struggle of shooting videos thats how i slowly ventured into this industry.
3.Which schools did you attend?
RICKY:I went to Mariakani primary school and did my kcse in Good Samaritan High school in Kawangware that was it. The rest was what i call school of had knocks thats where you learn to survive through each means. I used to sell water, simcards, i was once a waiter in a local hotel and most importantly am a student of an online school called GOOGLE & YOUTUBE where i learn cinematography, through online research i have learned to shoot videos.
4.Whats your favourite food?
RICKY :Definately ugali with any stew that accompanies it. Halafu pilau na biriani.
5.Are you single, in a relationship or married?
RICKY :I am in a relationship
6:Which coastal Kenya song would you listen over and over again?
RICKY:That would be definately Hidaya by susumila and Chikuzee, its a song that helped shape my career. Considering how well guys received the video, how we worked on the video, it was the first time meeting majority of the coast music players. So i listen together with a few other songs because they mean something in my career.
