EXCLUSIVE STORY: THE REVELATION OF KIWANJA!!!!

Kiwanja is a hip hop artiste from Malindi who has done thematic and positive music over decades. Having released hit after hit, his talent was unearthed to the bigger audience when he released Bonde chafu, that almost everyone could recite the lyrics to. He is popularly known for hit songs; Hatari (which he delivers blending both southern rap and hardcore hip hop elements) Mikono juu, 411, Baby, Siri yangu, Story zetu among other collaborations. Kiwanja has worked with top Kenyan artistes for singles like The Cypher that featured Sharamaa and Richie rich (Gurugang), Hela featuring Kaligraph Jones.
Recently, he has been featured in a new music single by Beka the Boy tittled Siri ya Moyo.


He is now working to release a compilation album The Genesis with his label mates at Malindi Records and a tour in different parts of the country Kenya
Inspiration story.His current project mabavu is doing well in the local coastal music charts.
He draws his music inspiration from his surroundings. Mainly his neighborhood of 411 Maweni, where he grew up, combined with his prowess in addressing social ills and the drug menace at the coast earned him his core youth fan base. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, despite coming from a Muslim background he attended church and joined a church choir to learn much about music and he made it.

Kiwanja also participates in community projects to give back to the society under a cooperate social responsibility initiative called Hip Hop: Beyond the Mic
II. PROJECT AT HAND
HATARI TOUR is a music tour that is geared to nurture talent, encourage and educate upcoming artistes and promote unity among artistes and communities across East Africa, Africa and the world at large by enlightening people that music is a career like any other. Music is power and it is through entertainment that we can easily gather the communities together and pass the message. Over time we have realized that most artistes and the community dont know that music can be a full time career while others dont know different ways of earning revenue from their music.

Therefore, we want to take this opportunity to educate and create awareness through all time positive music hit-maker KIWANJAMCS who ate, slept, walked and lived music to get the message home.
At the end of the tour we intend to have more potential and inspired talents, united communities and artistes.

Our main goal is to promote talent and distribute music in Kenya and later in Tanzania.
Objectives
To nurture and promote talent across Kenya, Tanzania and East Africa atlarge.
To distribute music across Tanzania and later in kenya.
To promote unity among East African artistes and communities.
To take a tour across Kenya and Tanzania, in that order in a bid to achieve the above.
Educating the upcoming artistes and the community the need of talent appreciation.
Coaching upcoming artistes on how to compose and make thematic and good music.
